July 25, 2016

On July 25th, 2016, a delegation of 6 representatives from the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission, led by the Vice-Director, Mr. Lijun Wang, visited the Navigator Ventures Groups offices.

Chongqing, a major city in Southwest China is the most populated municipality in all of China. In addition, Chongqing is one of the five national central cities in China and one of the fastest growing cities in the world. As Chongqing is known for its heavy industry and strength in the automobile, iron, steel fabrication, military and chemical refining industries, it serves as the primary logistics and distribution base for Western China. The Chinese Central Government has put special emphasis on Chongqing’s development, since June 2007.

During the cordial visit, hosted by Navigator President, Mr. Dan Raviv, the Chongqing delegates held meetings with some of Navigator' leading partners in the fields of homeland security, irrigation, land remediation and water and waste water treatment.

The day commenced with a brief regarding the activities and background of Navigator Ventures General presented by Mr. Raviv on behalf of Navigator. Following this, Mr. Guy Zuri, Navigator HLS VP Technologies presented Navigator HLS technologies in the Home Land Security arena. The day progressed with a detailed introduction to Navigator Land remediation technologies, waste water technologies and irrigation technologies of Netafim, a global leader in smart drip and micro-irrigation solutions, which enthused the delegate members immensely.

This successful visit has led to great interest from both sides for future collaboration between Navigator and the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission who intend to meet in Chongqing in the near future.
